I am taking a class on InDesign at ArtCenter here in sunny Pasadena.  it's really all about getting another program in my head / under my belt... that kind of thing.

Sometimes I just look for pretty faces and cool images to make a new piece of art with. This is one of those found faces. I hope the lady does not mind

WHO CAN DO KIM-BOP BETTER THAN A FROG CAN ?

These were sketches for a potential restaurant  icon... a frog character  for a Japanese place.  I thought it was an odd choice, but after looking around a bit and a little searching on the internet, a lot of Japanese restaurants like frogs for their imagery.  It has to go back farther than Sushi shops for Americans.  The frog must be a symbol having to do with food or fortune or Japan.
